McCourtney be fore me William Cole a Notary

Public within and for the County and State

aforesaid and says upon oath that he is a

Pensioner in the war of eighteen hundred Twelve

That he was out in the cervice and Served Sixty

Five days that John Bedtick was drafted and -

We made the range ments for me to go in his

Plase provided that I was drafted that he was to

go out in my plse, and i did. so I was mustered in to the

Service at Saint Charles Some time in April in 1814

under Captan Herald or Teral. to the best of My Knowledge

and Colonel McNear and then we was Marched to Lieuter

Island and remained there till i was discharged and

Before i was discharged I was drafted and acording to 

The range ments we had made he went out in my

Place he was under Captain McCoughlow and Lieu

Tenant Inks and was Marched up to Lieuter Island

and then I was discharged and said John Bidlick

served sixty days in my plase as I had gone out

In his plase and Served Sixty five days the

State Ments in the above is about as fair as

My Memmory Serves Me. }
