To all to whom these presents shall come
Greeting Know we that we for and in consid
ation of the sum of Fifty Shillings for every
hundred Acres hereby granted paid into our
Treasury by John Biddick have given and granted
and by these presents do give and grant unto the
said John Biddick atract of land containing
Two hundred Acres lying and being in the County
of Burk on the waters of Grassy Creek that falls
into Toe River Beginning on/an? a white oak near
a branch James Arrowoods corner and runs N
40? chains with said line to a white oak his corner?
Thense West twenty two chains to a Spanish oak
Peter Stotteohs corner Thence North with said line
Twelve chains to a white oak Williams Gilaspis
Corner Thense East fifty one chains with
Golospies line to a Stake Then South fifty nine
Chane to a Stake Thence West to the Beginning
Enter the 28th day of April 1802
as by the plot hereunto annexed doth appear
together will all woods, waters, mines, minerals
Hereditoments and appurtenances to the said lands
belonging or appertaining to hold to the said John
Biddick his heirs and assigns forever yielding? and
paying to us such sums of money yearly or other
wise as our General Assembly from time to time
may direct Providing always that the said grantee
shall cause this grant to be registered in the
register office of our said County of Burk within
twelve months from the date thereof other wise
the same shall be void In witness whereof we
have ordered these letters to be made patent and
our great seal hereunto affixed
Witness James Turner Esquire our governor Captain and
General and Commander in chief at Raleigh the 19th day
December in the twenty eight year of our Independance
and in the year of our Lord One thousand and three
