                                                (Of Pension Due Estate of Deceased Pensioner)

                                                  (Under Act No. 323, Approved May 31, 1909)

      State of Arkansas }

County of   Hempstead  }

      I,   Ray E. McDowell  , Clerk of the County Court within and for the

County and State aforesaid, do hereby certify that   Mrs. Laura Ashley Ann Smith  

was a Confederate pensioner, residing in said State,

that the application of the said   Mrs. Laura Ashley Smith   was originally filed in

said County; that said Mrs. Laura Ashley Smith died on or about the   9^th 

day of   July 1935  ; that the last allowance or issuance of a pension warrant to said deceased

pensioner was made in   December 1934  , and that   J. E. Bearden, Sheriff, as Public 

administrator of the estate of said   Mrs. Laura Ashley Smith  , is entitled to

receive, under the provisions of an Act of the General Assembly, approved May 31, 1909, the pro rata

amount accruing For burial expenses of said pension, subject to the

apportionment of the pension fund made by the State Board of Pensioners for the present year.
