Notes for Isaac Newton Bittick

Isaac Newton was born 23 March 1826 in Tennessee. He died after the 1860 census of 20 October. He was buried in Obion County, Tennessee but the exact place of the cemetery is unknown.

20 April 1854.
Deed of Trust:
Isaac Newton Bitticks to Jacob Morris. Lists Bittick's indebtedness, dated 20 April 1854.
Consideration: Five dollars and other mentioned consideration.
Description: 1/2 interest in stallion Pennsylvania, claimed by William Tuly and myself; one road wagon and six head of horses viz: 1 gray horse, 2 bay horses, 1 sorrel horse, 1 two year roan filly, 1 bay brown colt.
Deed made for following uses and trusts:
I am indebted to William Truly in the following sums by note:
one note for fifty dollars due 23 Dec 1854.
One note for twenty dollars due 31 Jany 1855,
One note for sixteen dollars due -- March 1855.
Tuly and Bitticks executed one joint note to Haynes and E. W. McClaurun for three hundred dollars due 1 March last; one half of which is my debt, the other half Tuley's;
one joint note to Williams Alexander for four hundred dollars due 26 Dec last, one half is my debt. If my part is not paid by 25 December next, Morris may sell the mentioned property and apply the money to pay the debts.

18 June 1857:
Isaac N. Bittick to W. F. Hill, deed of trust for note of $318. dated 18 June 1857.
Consideration: two dollars.
Description: My two mares, one dark iron grey about 4 years old, the other a white mare about 8 or nine years old; my whole crop of wheat on 10 acres now growing.
But the deed is made for the following trust: I am indebted by note under seal as bill simple for $318. If I pay the note the deed is void. If I fail to pay by due date (18 June 1858) after 30 days notice, said Hill may sell at the Court House door the above property. The property to remain in my possession and use unless necessary to sell.
