A Deed of Trust from Hiram Bittick to James Vaughn for a Sorrel Mare, small Wagon, three Cows, two Calves, fifteen head Hogs, Eight bushels wheat, four stacks Fodder, and two Feather Beds & C, was produced before me at my office and the Execution there of personaly the acknowledged by the said Hiram Bittick this 24th day of September AD 1849. Purpose to be sold to cover debts owned if debts not paid by 25 Dec 1850. (debts to John Martin, $3. and 50 cents, ---- Smith $3 (Gerome Bittick as stayor or surety), Campbell Cook 47. (judgement with stayor James Vaughn), Edward Jones, Clerk

Ordered that Samuel Rogers, Henry Miller, Jacob Miller, James Vaughan, William Wilkerson, & HIRAM BITTICK or any five of them be appointed a Jury to view and mark out a public Road if they think it necessary and proper, between Wm. Miller and Joshua Morris, and that they make a report to this Court at or before the next May term thereof.
