James M. Waggoner Deceased
September Session 1853 The State of Tennessee Williamson County Court September Session 1852. Whereas it appears to the court that James M Waggoner died and having made no will or testament and application being made by Josephus Bittick to have letters of Administration granted to him in the estate of the said James M. Waggoner deceased he having given bond and security as by law in such case as required. The Court therefore orders that he have letters accordingly. These are therfore to authorize and empower you the said Josephus Bittick to order into and upon all and singular the goods and chattels rights and credits of the said James M. Waggoner deceased and the same into your possession take whatever be found on this state and a true and perfecct inventory thereof make and return into this court at the next term and all the just debts of the intestate to pay so far as the said estate will amount or extend the residue thereof deliver to those who have a right thereto by law. Herein fail not.

Sacred to the memory of James W. Wagoner born 7-12-1825 died 11-5-1852. (Married Atlantic Minerva Bittick (born 1828) on 2-1-1848). Atlantic's parents were Samuel F. Bittick (born 1-16-1790) and Elizabeth Frazier. James and Atlantic has two sons - James M. and Samuel.

Valentine Waggoner born 6-1787 died 1852. (Valentine married Hannah Tate in 1818 in Orange Co, NC.) Valentine and Hannah's son - James M. Waggoner.

Hannah Waggoner died 3-22-1875, age 87 (w/o Valentine. Hannah's 2nd husband - Mr. Coleman.)
