Samuel F. Bittick departed this life 18 January 1853 leaving a will. He left a widow, Elizabeth Bittick and children, Josephus Bittick, Cyrus S. Bittick, William D. Bittick, Atlanta M. and Cordelia now the wife of James Shannon. He left a portion of his estate to his wife and at her death to go to his children. Atlanta married James W. Waggoner who died November 5, 1852 and Joseph Bittick was the Admr. of the estate. Atlanta lived with her mother after the death of said Waggoner until her second marriage. Waggoner's estate was insolvent. The settlement of Samuel F. Bittick's estate has been made. Josephus says Atlanta has been given her share of their father's estate.
