Delta County, Texas Genealogy Society [book unknown], p75:
These triplets are sons of the late George W. Neal. According to a letter from Barbara (Neal) Ledbetter, Graham, Texas (Mr. Neal’s great-niece) dated March 10, 1961:
“Uncle George died last July 4th. He died in California, and they returned him to Little Rock, Arkansas for burial. His wife, Lena, had died the previous year. One of the triplet boys was killed in a car accident in the 1940s. The other two live in California. They were called TOM, DICK, and HARRY Neal for nicknames. Their real names were LaVon [Tom], LaMon [Dick], and LaMont [Harry]. They were always call Tom, Dick and Harry, and all of our relatives refer to them still as that. When they were born triplets were rare. Not so today.”

In a letter to Mrs. Wells B. Hamby, Prescot, Arkansas, dated March 3, 1958, Mr. Neal stated:
“Our mother was the daughter of Andrew Blevins, but having lost her at the tender age of nine I never got much information about the Blevins Family prior to her immediate family. She had brothers named Bee, Bob, and Hugh and sisters named Lou, Sallie, and Martha Jones.”

[These names match the names of Andrew J. Blevins and Sarah Jane Bittick’s children except for Martha who is listed as Mary Johns Blevins not Jones - she married Alec Dees and Frank Marion Fenley - and is suppose to be a daughter of Andrew’s 2nd wife, Susannah Davis. There was a son, Carter c1854 AR who isn’t listed but he may have died young. Since I am unable to locate them in 1870 - I can’t confirm IF Andrew actually married Susannah Davis. mbg]

Mr. Neal did not say what his mother’s name was, but the ‘Bee’ that he referred to is our grandfather William Bee Blevins.

If George was 9 when his mother died that would have been c1895. I haven’t located Sherod W. Neal in 1900 but in 1910 he is married to Minnie and both state they have been married twice.
