Hutchinson County Herald, October 11, 1946:
Robert Bryan Jennings, 72, died in his home at 805 Brain street at 3:30 o'clock this morning. He had lived in Borger since 1927 and was formerly employed by the Panhandle Power and Light Company. Jennings was born April 28, 1874 and is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Bobbie Hanson of Lima, Ohio, and Mrs. Bessie M. Phipps of Fox, Oklahoma; a son, Boyd H. Jennings of New Hampshire; two grandchildren, Mrs. Elma Brown of Borger and Silas E. Rushin, in the armed forces. The body will lie in state in the Minton funeral home pending arrival of relatives for completion of funeral arrangements.

Funeral services for Robert Bryan Jennings, 72, were conducted at 2 p.m. in Minton funeral home chapel, with the Rev. J.N. Hunt officiating. Interment was in Highland Park cemetery. Jennings died in his home at 805 Brain street at 8:30 a.m. Thursday. He had been a Borger resident since 1927 and was formerly employed by the Panhandle Power and Light company. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Bobbie Hanson of Lima, Ohio, and Mrs. Bessie M. Phipps of Fox, Okla.; a son, Boyd H. of New Hampshire; and two grandchildren.
