Notes for Sarah Henthorn
Henthorn information:
Mary Henthorn, a daughter of James Henthorn, was born 24 November 1815 in Missouri and died 10 May 1891. Her mother, Dorcas Henthorn, was born 1785 in Kentucky and a census record from 1860 suggests she married a Sewell after the death of James Henthorn. The last record of James in Pike County, Arkansas was in 1846 at which time he apparently died. Mary Henthorn married James Little Sorrels in 1834 in Pike County, Arkansas.

Mary and Sarah are probably sisters but no proof has been found to establish their relationship. James and Dorcas are tentatively listed as the parents of Sarah Henthorn who married Robert Bittick based on the 1830 census of Clark Co, Arkansas where Robert was enumerated next to James Henthorn.
No headstone has been located for Sarah. She died before 30 December 1841 when Robert and his second wife, Cintha, sign a deed in Clark Co, Arkansas. She may have died about 1838 as some researchers feel Robert and Cintha were married in 1839.
