20 July 1868: N.A. Caruthers & Joseph Cassart for $1.00 further advances an acount in the way of goodswear, merchandise, and family supplies, Cossart will furnish Caruthers not to exceed $250 value. N.A. Caruthers will sell to Cossart the following property, all of his present grown crop of cotton consisting of 6 acres now growing on the farm of A.B.Caruthers.

Mortgage: Book O, pg 537, same as above. $128.50 already due to make his crop & support his family.

Mortgage: 1872, Clark Co, Arkansas
N.A. Caruthers to L.W. Marberry, $99. A sufficient portion of any crop to pay all ---- at the close of the year 1872. say 5 bales of cotton to be raised on the land known as the old Caruthers place to be -------- picked & delivered at the close of 1872.

13 Feb 1875: N.A. Caruthers and Jew Doty. N.A. indebyed for $30.00 payable 25 Dec 1875,10% interest if not paid, Doty may take personal property, one yoke of oxen. John Harden, witness.

N.A. Caruthers & Tillman, $75, to Kemp party of 3rd part, must be paid by 1 Dec 1876 for all supplies furnished not to exceed $75. Yoke of oxen, one cow & calf, 3 bales of cotton, 300 lbs each. N.A. will plant 7 acres of cotton. Okalona. Recorded 8 Apr 1876.

Mortgage: Clark Co, Arkansas
14 May 1878: N.A. Carothers to J. Doty. $30 & note. One yoke of oxen & ox yoke etc. cows, wagons, cotton, for indebteness - party of first part shall pay party of 2nd part - in a conspicuous place in the town of Okolona.
