Notes for Dickson 'Dick' Wildren Bittick

Confusion on the first name of Dickerson.
Helen Isabell Bittick White, his daughter, wrote her father's name as Dickson Wildren Bittick. Isabella Dunlop Bittick called him Dick in her letters. Most legal documents say, 'D.W.' Bittick. In a letter from Irene Helvy on 19 Nov 1980, she gives his name as Richard Dixon Wiley Bittick. She assumed his name was Richard but in fact it was not. He was known as D.W. Bittick and was a minister of the gospel.

Minister of the Church of Christ in Montague. Used a team of 14 mules to harvest rice in Louisiana.
