Aged 94; died at her home 1709 Madison Ave (Austin, Texas) on Sunday, 26 June [1966]. Funeral at Weed-Corley Funeral Home (Austin), by Minister J.W. Hicks. Burial in Liberty Hill Cemetery. She was born in Liberty Hill on October 6, 1871, residing in Liberty Hill till 1890, moving to Lampasas. Married to John Spivey of Lampasas on December 2, 1891. Mr. Spivey died in Austin, June 16 [19], 1959. Survivors include three sons: Clint Spivey (of Austin), Joe Spivey of Liberty Hill and Alvin Spivey of San Saba; two daughters, Miss Nellie Spivey and Miss Nettie Spivey of Austin; three sisters, Mrs. W.W. Standard [Lucretia] of Lampasas, Mrs. D.C. Bauvelt [Minnie] of Arlington and Mrs. Frank Lee [Mattie] of ... [obituary ends]

Mrs. Jinsy M. Spivey
Mrs. Jinsy M. Spivey, 94, 1709 Madison Avenue, died at her home Sunday. A resident of Austin for the past 16 years, she was a former resident of Goldthwaite. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors are three sons, Clint Spivey, Joe Spivey, Liberty Hill, Alvin Spivey, San Saba; two daughters, Miss Nellie Spivey, Miss Nettie Spivey, both of Austin; three sisters, Mrs. W. W. Standard, Lampasas; Mrs. D. C. Bauvelt, Arlington, Mrs. Frank Lee, Bend; nine grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held at the Weed-Corley Funeral Home Monday at 3:30 p.m. with J. W. Hicks, minister of Church of Christ at Liberty Hill officiating. Burial was in Liberty Hill Cemetery.
Pall bearers were Richards Behrens, Robert Behrens, Greg Behrens, Joe Earl Spivey, Jimmy Spivey, Gary Spivey, Pat Rowley and Tim Spivey.
Honorary pallbearers were Curtis Armstrong and Ronnie Wier.
