Notes on Willis Family:

Jarvis Willis, born c1752 in Maryland, died after 1850 in Lawrence Co, Alabama. Enlisted in Maryland. Pension filed in Franklin Co, Tennessee in 1823. He states he is 71 yrs of age. In 1850 he is living with William and Mary Alexander in Lawrence Co, Alabama, age 100 yrs. His parents are supposed to be John Willis and Elizabeth [--?--].

Lydia Willis born between 1775-84 is a possible daughter of Jarvis. There is a James Willis in Stokes Co, North Carolina in 1800, age 45+, born before 1755, who could be Jarvis. Living next to this James is Henry Willis, born 1774-84, a likely brother to Lydia.
