Dinah (Biddick) Hornaday
born (___1787), died 3-16-1850 2nd wife of Lewis Hornaday. Age 63y. (from Ireland). Buried in Row E # 7.

I wrote Lewis Hornaday about her being from Ireland. I got a reply today saying "About all we had was a handed down story in one of the families on the west coast that Dinah was red headed and Irish. We had nothing to verify this and perhaps should have tried harder to research it."

Since Dinah died before the 1850 census was taken we can't see what she would have said.
