Heritage of Old Buncombe Co, NC, story #364, 'James Alexander Hall and Descendants' by Jo Ann F. Surratt.
Her father was William Morrison. This information was found in the Carson House, Marion, McDowell Co, North Carolina, in a notebook marked, Morrison/Hall.
