Patricia Ann Doughty says his full name is: Marvel Napoleon Bonaparte Bayless McKenzie Ranson Edney. Her father is Clifton Arnold Vanover, his mother was Eula Edney daughter of Marvell and Matilda Biddix.
"When Marvel was 12 years old he marched as a drummer boy all the way north and then the Union soldiers put a blue uniform on him and marched him home."
