JAMES BIDDIX DIES WEDNESDAY AFTER ILLNESS
James Bulow Biddix, 84, died at his home in the Greenlee section of McDowell county Wednesday morning after a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at the Siloam Presbyterian church at two o'clock Thursday afternoon and interment will be in the Oak Grove cemetery. Rev. Walter Goodman will officiate.
He is survived by his wife, four sons, Fred W. Biddix of Spruce Pine, George E. and Charles F. of Marion, and David Biddix of Rutherfordton; two daughters, Mrs. E. G. Dysart and Mrs. J. H. Duncan of Marion; 19 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
The body will lie in state at the church a half hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers are Fred Biddix Jr., Clarence Biddix, James Biddix, Carl Biddix, Harold Dysart, and Haden Duncan. Westmoreland-Hawkins Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
