Francis Lee Hildebrand died at his home in Jasper township on Saturday, January 29, 1921 at the age of 75 years, 1 month and 24 days. He was a native of Dallas Co having been born December 5, 1845 in same and where he spent most of his life. He was a member of Co. C. 46th Mo. Inf. during the Civil War of which W.H. Booth and several others now living in the county were members. He was married to Ann Jones to which union ten children were born. He is survived by his companion and three children, seven having preceded him in death, and other relatives and friends. The surviving children are Emery Hildebrand of Pitcher, Okla., Sara Roach, Tulsa, Okla., and Mollie Franklin, who is at home. Funeral services were conducted by Mrs. Sherman Bennett and interment was in the Scrivener cemetery near Plad.
