Did William Harrison Cheairs marry Nancy Caison on 3 January 1842 or 1 March 1842 or 1848? I can't locate a record for the 1848 marriage.
Lots of confusion on this couple!

Nancy Caison md William Cheairs on 1 Mar 1842 in San Augustine Co
Nancy Caison md William Ohair on 1 Mar 1842 in Nacogdoches Co
Nancy Caison md W. H. Sullivan on 30 May 1850 in Cherokee Co
William and Nancy are not found on any census records. In 1850, Rusk Co, Texas is a William Chair/Ohair with a wife named Annice. In 1860 he is listed as William Ohair and wife Annis so it appears his name is O'Hair and not Chairs/Cheairs.
I'm beginning to think William did not marry Nancy Caison and her marriage to William O'Hair has been mis-read as Cheairs. Therefore, I am removing Nancy Caison as his wife until more research confirms their marriage.
