[Bertha Bittick Lauer Cox states on her mother's, Maggie Bittick, death certificate that her father was John Bittick. Could Perry be John Perry Bittick?]

To the Honorable Probate Court of St. Charles County, MO.

The undersigned, Sarah Bittick, upon oath states, that she is the widow of Francis Bittick, a resident of St. Charles County, who died November 29th 1895 in said County. That said Francis Bittick left no real estate, but only the following personal property:

Household and kitchen furniture; also two mules and seven hogs covered by a chattel mortgage for One hundred and twenty seven Dollars and interest held and due to Michael Sutten, which is about the full value of said property. One mare, one cow, two sows and thirteen pigs, one drill and wagon, two old plows, one old cultivator, one set of harness, also about one hundred bushels of corn and about twenty acres of growing wheat.

That the value of said property is not greater in amount, than is allowed by law as the absolute property of the widow, as will also appear by the affidavit of two disinterested householders of St. Charles County, hereto attached. She therefore prays for an order under Section 2 of the Revised Statutes of 1889, that no letters of Administration shall be issued on the estate of said Francis Bittick and that your petitioner may retain all of said property, belonging to his estate and have the authority granted to her by said section.
Respectfully, _(signature of Sarah Bittick)_

Subscribed and sworn to before me on this the 27th day of December 1895.
