page 20: The court approves the following bonds taken by the Judge and clerk in vacation to wit:
Malin H. Spyers, adm of the estate of Malinda Bittick, dec'd in the sum of two hundred dollars, with Alexander Carson and Thomas H. Hooten as his securities there as.
page 21: The Court appoints Malin H. Spyres Guardian and Curator of Laura A. and Stephen P. Bittick, minors under the age of fourteen years, and ordered by the Court that the Guardian and Curator execute bond to said ward & in the sum of One hundred dollars, conditioned as required by law.

Now have Malin H. Spyres, Guardian and Curator of Laura A. and Stephen P. Bittick, present his bond to said ward in the sum of One hundred dollars, conditioned as required by law with Alexander Carson as his security. Thereas which bond is approved by the Court and ordered to be filed and recorded.

The Court finds upon adjusting his accounts, that he is indebted to said estate in the sum of One hundred & 85/100 dollars, and is entitled to credit in the sum of Twenty-nine and 05/100 dollars, leaving in balance due said estate in the sum of Eighty & 80/100 dollars, with which amount said adm. is now here charged.

Malinda Bittick dec'd}
Now at this day comes Malin H. Spyers admr of the estate of Malinda Bittick dec'd, in obedience to a citation issued out of this Office the __ day of December 1878 and represents to the Court that he has not the means to make said settlement, and failing and refusing to make the same. It is therefore ordered by the Court that his letters of administration of said estate be and they are hereby revoked. and it is further ordered by the Court that said Malin H. Spyers pay the costs of this proceeding laid out and expended taxed at One 55/100 dollars and that execution issue therefor.
