It's possible Mary Graves is the daughter of George & Mary Smith. She is the right age, if Graves is her married name, she moved to AR & TX at the same time as her sister, Isaphena Kelso & lived in the same area.

Dottie Miller found the following marriage in Hempstead Trails, Oct 1991, p11, 'Marriage Certificates of Hempstead Co,AR':
John M. GRAVES about 21 [ca1824], to Mary Ann Brashares 18 [ca1827], at house of Francis LASITER, Missouri Twp, 6 Apr 1845, by William B. Arnold, ME Elder, A-1.

John could be a brother or son to Mary. Of interest is a John C. Graves who was a security for the estate of William Bittick in 1822. William was the husband of Permelia Smith Bittick. If Mary Graves' maiden name is Smith, she is probably the sister of Permelia. John C. Graves could have been the husband of Mary 'Polly' Smith Graves. Last known entry of John C. Graves was on April 3, 1828 in St Louis Co,MO when he signed as Test. for Robert Musick. [See William Bittick, probate file for additional info.] If Mary Graves is the widow of John C. Graves, then I believe John M. Graves is their son since John married at the home of Francis & Mary Lasiter. John Clark Graves died 1837, wife Polly.
