...a Low Dutch Colony came from Mercer Co into Shelby Co between 1784-86 and settled around Pleasureville. Brewers and VANISDALS [Van Arsdall] were among those who moved to Shelby Co.
BIBLE RECORD: Cornelius Van Arsdall Bible in the posession of Mrs Hardy Klein provides dates of birth, death, etc. per Terry Vannarsdale. 10 Jun 1996, from Deb Schmidt per Terry Vannarsdale of Florence KY [TerryV2749]:
"Alexander's parents were Cornelius A. Van Arsdall and Jannetie Baird. The information was said to have been taken from Mrs Harry Klein of Crawfordsville, IN in 1928. The lineage of C.B. Van Arsdall by Mai Noy Van Arsdall.
Terry Vannardsale's FGS: Betsy Holt resided with the Van Arsdall family, she married Amos Gritton on 14 Oct 1816 in Mercer Co, KY. What is her relationship to this family? She is not their daughter.
